How it Works
Currently British Columbians purchasing a used vehicle are required to pay Provincial Sales Tax (PST) on the Canadian Black Book value. It takes into account only year, make, and model of the vehicle. The value assigned does not include physical condition, mechanical condition, mileage, required maintenance, accident history and many other contributing factors.
If you believe your vehicle is considered below-average for any of these factors, you will benefit from our professional vehicle appraisal service. AppraiseBC is fully compliant with ICBC, BC Ministry of Finance Consumer Taxation Branch and Insurance Council of BC regulations. Our appraisers are there to answer any further questions you might have.
